Come Join the Fun!

Have you been hearing about this crazy game that is exploding in popularity all over the country? 

Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not too late to join in the fun! I offer lessons in my home (Five Points neighborhood in North Asheville).

Beginner Classes

Mahj 101: You will learn the basics of the game, the rules, and even begin playing in this 3-hour class.

Fee: $60 per person (includes your 2026 National Mah Jongg League card that I provide)

Less than 4 people? No problem! On the first Tuesday of each month I  hold classes for those who are taking Mahj 101 by themselves or with one or two other people. We need a total of four people to hold a class. If there aren't four people for a class, we’ll shift it to the following month until we do. These classes are held in my home.

Morning Class: 10 am - 1 pm

Evening Class: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Mahj 201: You must have taken Mahj 101. This 3-hour class builds on what you learned in Mahj 101. Plus, you will learn additional game play, strategies and gamesmanship etiquette.

Fee: $45 per person, four person minimum.

Advanced Class

Mahj 301: This 2-hour class focuses on your specific group's needs, such as advanced strategies, defensive game play, continued guided instruction. These classes are held in my home.

Fee: $35 per person, four person minimum.

Payment will be due at the end of the class (Exact Cash, Check, Venmo & Zelle)
